Cork Books...
Typography...
We were shown these interesting video/animations at the beginning of a typography based project. I really like the way the type moves within these animations, and think that producing something that is interesting, and yet informative, through this medium is really clever - wish i knew how to do it!

The things we make...
I came across this designer through the website ilovetypography.com
I really like a few pieces of his work. Especially the contrast with some of the posters he produced for The Body Shop.

I like the contrast between the hand drawn slightly comical images for the Hemp advert, and the crisp and professional tone of voice for the other posters. I like that the company have chosen to use the same designer for two very different pieces.
I also like this piece; a wedding invitation made for some friends of the designer. I like that it mimics a Mills and Boon book cover, it is very convincing!
