I really like this example of how to bind a book. Each of the double page spreads have a notch made in them, about 2cm away from the spine. An elastic band or string is then used to hold all of the pages together.
I think that this simple and lo-fi way of making a book is really interesting, and something that I can easily use and also consider for future projects.
